Privacy Policy

With the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulations on 25 May 2018 we (The Liberton Association) are required to advise you that our Treasurer and Membership Secretary (Data Controller) keeps a Database of all the members of the Association.
The Database contains details of all members including but not limited to the following: surname along with a given name, postal address, e-mail address where applicable, telephone numbers (when provided) and relevant subscription details.
This information is kept on a password protected computer, with independent back up and we can advise that sensitive data so stored will not be shared with any other parties, except for activity relative to the Association, without your express permission.
Paper copies of the membership list are used by the Treasurer for the recording of subscriptions at the AGM and Mid-Year Meeting and are held in secure accommodation along with the Association’s records.
This information will not be shared with any other parties, except for activity relative to the Association, without your express permission.
The membership records will be retained for a maximum period of 5 years.
