Braid Hills Nursing Home
Due to miscommunication between the council and the developer, the consultation session on Wednesday 8th July was cancelled without notification. A small crowd of residents were sheltering from the sun when I arrived. I phoned the architects. At some point a revised schedule will be published, and we will endeavour to keep residents informed.

Mayfield Road Reopens
The Southern end of Mayfield Road has now reopened in both directions. Some resurfacing work has been done. This junction, unfortunately, remains the only major arterial route junction in South Edinburgh which lacks a full pedestrian crossing sequence. It is still not possible to cross Kirk Brae or Mayfield Road safely at this 5-way junction.…

Mayfield Road Closure coming to an end – at last!
The closure of Mayfield Road at the Liberton Brae junction is nearly over, after over 2 years! The road first closed in January 2022, with an original closure panned for 12 months! Signage indicates resurfacing work should be finished by the end of the 19th November!
